Today, I finished the last of the details of Bella’s fur and added some shadow to her face. Then I went back and fixed a few spots here and there to the background. Now that it is done I can go ahead and take the masking tape off around the perimeter which will reveal a nice clean edge ready for matting and framing.

OK, so this is the final image of Jazzy and Behi. I want to just point out here that my scanner is not perfect and because of that Jazzy came out a bit lighter than the drawing. They are both about the same as far as depth of shadow. I think it may be in part due to the fact that the drawing is just slightly bigger than my scanner window and so when I go to close the lid a trace amount of light from the outside gets in and makes part of the scan lighter on one side. That is just my theory.
Anyway, this has been a lot of fun to do.
